Employer Brand Insights BV respects the privacy of all users of its website and makes sure that the personal information you provide us with is treated with confidentiality. Employer Brand Insights BV acts in accordance with the law on the protection of personal data (‘WBP’) and as from 25 May 2018 with the General Data Protection Regulation.
1. Who is Employer Brand Insights BV?
Employer Brand Insights BV (in the following referred to as EBI BV) is a private limited liability company, with legal seat and offices in Houten, listed in the Trade Register of the Chamber of Commerce under number 56689691. Doorsight is a trade name of Employer Brand Insights BV.
2. What personal data is collected and processed?
Use of our services
On the website of EBI BV you can find what services EBI BV offers and contract an appropriate service. When you register for one of our services, we ask you, if applicable, to provide us with (some of) the following (personal) data:
- first and last name
- phone number
- e-mail address
- job category
- years with employer
- department name
- employee ID
- manager ID

- company name
- invoice address
- postcode and place
- e-mail address
- IBAN and beneficiary
On the website, you can register for an on-line demonstration (demo or webinar) with regard to the services of EBI BV. In order to register, EBI BV asks you for your first and last name, e-mail address, and (optionally) your phone number.
When you send us e-mails or other messages, for example through the support function on the website or in a survey, we save those messages. Sometimes, we ask you for the personal data which is relevant for the situation at hand. This makes it possible to process your questions and to answer your requests. The data is stored on the own secure servers of EBI BV or those of a third party, in compliance with GDPR.
Automatically generated data
To let the website function optimally, automatically generated information on your use of the website is collected and processed. The optimization of the provision of services consists, amongst other things, of technical modifications, for example to properly display pages and to secure the website. The information which is collected consists of the type of device (PC, mobile, tablet) you use, your IP address (number of your device which makes it possible to recognize your device), the type of browser, the operating system you use, and the pages you visit on the website and the items you view. In addition, we keep track of the host name associated with the IP address, log-in session data, and selected parameters. We have concluded a processor agreement with Google Analytics, whereby we make use of IP anonymization. That means we do not share information about your use of the website with other partners or third parties.
3. For what purposes and on what legal grounds is the collected information used?
Your data will be used for the following purposes, and based on the following legal grounds:
The use is necessary for the implementation of an agreement to which you are a party, as a client of Employer Brand Insights BV or as a user through the client of one of the services of Employer Brand Insights:
- to enable the use of the website or on-line surveys of EBI BV;
- to process, analyze and present in an anonymized form the obtained information in the Doorsight application.
- to invoice the use of the services of EBI BV to you.
The processing is necessary to defend the legitimate interests of EBI BV
- to send you information regarding our own products and services and to react to questions and/or complaints you may have;
- to prepare anonymized statistical data;
- to secure, modify, and improve the website.
You have granted permission for the use or the processing of data. This is necessary to comply with a legal obligation which EBI BV is subject to, such as:

EBI BV wants to keep you informed of the development of its services. If, for example, there is an expansion of the options for the services, EBI BV will let you know. EBI BV can also keep you posted of the promotional actions which are and/or will be organized by them.

4. How long does EBI BV keep personal data?
Your personal data is carefully kept, no longer than is necessary for the purpose it is obtained for. The time limit for data retention is 7 years after termination of the contract or after the last processing of the personal data.
All personal data of respondents will be deleted within one year of their departure from our client's organization. All non-business email addresses of respondents will be deleted within a maximum of one year and/or after first use for the first survey.
5. Where is your personal data stored?
Your data is stored on the own secured servers of EBI BV or on those of a third party. EBI BV makes use of servers in the EU.
6. In what manner is your personal data protected?

8. Perusal, correction, and transferability of your data?
If you wish to see the data which is recorded on you at EBI BV, you can submit a request for perusal. This request can be sent to email@example.com. EBI BV will respond within four (4) weeks to your request for perusal. If you want to apply modifications to the data you have seen in connection with your perusal request, you can send a request to that effect to the above-mentioned e-mail address. You can request the modification, correction, supplementing, removal, or shielding off of your data from EBI BV. EBI BV will respond within four (4) weeks to your request. In case EBI BV rejects your request, it will indicate in its reaction why the request for the modification of your data is rejected.
